What is 14k Gold Fill?
14k gold fill is a layer of real gold pressure-bonded to a base metal - much thicker and more durable than gold plating. It has the warmth and beauty of solid gold and with proper care, it resists tarnishing and wear.
Everyday Care
- Put your jewelry on last - after lotions, perfumes, and sunscreen - and take it off at the end of the day
- Avoid wearing your pieces in the ocean, pool, or shower. Salt water, chlorine, and soap can dull the gold fill over time
- Remove jewelry before exercise or activities where it may be exposed to sweat or friction
Cleaning Your Pieces
- Gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth after each wear to remove oils and residue
